Let me take you behind the scenes and share the process that involved leveraging the power of Generative AI.

The first 25 minutes 

First, I drafted an outline of what I wanted this article to be about. Then, I headed to ChatGPT and I gave it a very detailed prompt that included tone of voice, word count and an outline of the sections I wanted to include

Here is my exact prompt: I want to write a witty, conversational, professional and authoritative 600-word blog post about using Generative AI to create content for small business. Each section needs to have a headline. I want the intro to explain what Generative AI is and how small businesses can use it. In the first section, I want to outline different AI tools you can use such as Jasper, Copy.ai and ChatGPT. I want the second section to outline the advantages of utilising Generative AI to create content. I want the third section to outline the disadvantages/drawbacks of using Generative AI.  The fourth section should explain that Generative AI is missing is E-E-A-T-S (experience, expertise, authority, trust and SEO), please breakdown each element of E-E-A-T-S.

The next 40 minutes 

With the prompt in place, ChatGPT swiftly generated the initial draft of the article. But I knew that the human touch was necessary to refine the article further.

During this phase, I carefully reviewed the generated content, honing it to align with my intended tone of voice and purpose. I simplified complex ideas, removed any unnecessary jargon, and ensured a smooth flow throughout the piece. Additionally, I added hyperlinks and strategically placed keywords to optimise the article for SEO, enhancing its visibility on search engines.

The last 25 minutes 

In the final phase, I took the opportunity to add a touch of my own personal experience and expertise by adding in the last two sections. By disclosing how I created this blog article I am sharing my experience and building trust with my audience.
